My Mission

My Journey to Excellence

In 2016, I began a contract with Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance (BSWQA), where I helped a hospital in west Texas build a data warehouse using insurance claims files. This project introduced me to the world of healthcare data, and more importantly, taught me the critical impact that data has on both patient outcomes and hospital operations. The data we processed each month was instrumental in identifying patients in need of interventions, ultimately helping to reduce costs and improve care.

My Mission

With nearly three decades of experience in data management, I specialize in taking data that was originally gathered for one purpose and shaping it for entirely new uses. My expertise includes building data warehouses, developing reporting models, and integrating complex data systems. I have worked with a wide range of industries, but my focus in recent years has shifted toward healthcare, where accurate and actionable data can make a direct difference in people’s lives.

Throughout my career, I’ve leveraged tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Power Query to create data solutions that improve efficiency, reporting, and decision-making. My goal is to help rural hospitals and small healthcare provider groups harness the power of their data to enhance patient care while reducing operational costs
